Today we meet Teresa Tennyson

💕💕As we continue our Breast Cancer Month awareness, this week we’re focusing on Treasa Tennyson from Toomebridge.

Having completed her treatment for breast cancer last year, Teresa spoke to a Macmillian nurse as she was feeling a little low. The Macmillan nurse referred Teresa to Charis Cancer Care.

Teresa was very sceptical about coming to Charis and in her own words describes what she was thinking – “That’s not my scene, definitely not for me.” However, she gave it a go and is happy to admit how wrong she got it!

“From the first phone call, being met at the door, the welcoming cuppa; it was all so easy, the people were so friendly, nothing was too much bother, and they told me not to worry, tears are normal. There was no judgement here.

My therapist was gentle, smiling, kind and the absolute best. Having been introduced to reflexology at my age – I am a convert, I love it!!!
I would recommend Charis Cancer Care to anyone, it’s a little piece of heaven and personally, I would say – don’t knock therapy or complementary treatments until you’ve tired it.

Charis is wonderful – pure and simple!”
