Today we meet Louise Taylor

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and to highlight the support available at Charis Cancer Care, we will be running a series of client testimonials during the month.

Today, Louise Taylor from Moneymore shares her story:

“‘I was diagnosed with BRAC 2 mutation in March 2025. Being diagnosed with the BRCA2 gene mutation and facing a preventative double mastectomy was one of the most frightening and emotional experiences of my life. Charis Cancer Care supported me throughout my journey with counselling and holistic therapies, giving me a safe space to talk, process my emotions and find some peace during such a difficult time. Their kindness, compassion and support helped me feel less alone, and I will always be incredibly grateful for everything they did for me.”

If you or someone you know would like more information on the services and support available, call 028 8676 9217 or email info@chariscancercare.org
