Payroll Giving

 Also known as Give as You Earn, this is an easy way for employees to donate to their favourite charities. Employees can donate from their gross salary giving tax relief on charitable giving.

e.g if they pay the basic 20% tax rate, for every £1 earned 20p is paid in tax.

That means if they would like to donate £10 a month, only £8 will be deducted from their net pay.

Having a Payroll Giving scheme can play an important role in your company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme through charitable giving.

Charity of the Year

Skills Based Volunteering

Do you have marketing, PR or event planning skills and have some time to spare? We would love your help with some short term projects- using your skills to help us increase our visibility and reach. 

Or why not encourage your team to volunteer with us- we would love help with events and collections and would be keen to recruit enthusiastic people to join us raise much needed funds for our services.

Use of venue for volunteer meetings/training

Do you have an office space we could use for meetings or events? Venue hire can add extra expense to charities, so if you have a great location for events or team meetings, we would love to hear from you.

Team challenges

Whether its organising a team relay for the marathon, skydiving, abseiling or another exciting challenge, why not choose Charis as your chosen charity? We can provide you with t-shirts and a sponsorship pack. We would love to see some of your pictures to share on our website and social media, raising your profile with our followers!

Team building

Would you like a team building day to get out of the office and raise much needed funds for Charis? Challenge your team to raise as much money as they can in our Friends of Charis charity shop or join one of our collection days.

Match Funding

Some organisations ‘match fund’ what their employees raise on the day. This helps engage staff members and boosts donations on all their hard work. 84% of people are more likely to give to a charity appeal if match funded.

Corporate Sponsorship

Would you like to sponsor some of our upcoming fundraising events?  Business support has helped us in the past by sponsoring t-shirts, providing food for events, prizes for raffles and supplies for goodie bags for event participants.

What can we do for you?

We support adults across NI who are going through a cancer journey- this can be those diagnosed with cancer, their loved ones or those bereaved due to cancer. Therefore, there is every likelihood some of your staff or work colleagues could benefit from our services.

We can come to your organisation to talk about the services we provide or provide you with information leaflets to distribute to your team.
