Covid-19 – New remote services

It has been a long 6 months since we had to close our doors to Charis Cancer Care back in March as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic- this was a very difficult decision to make, but we know it was the best decision, with our clients, supporters & staff’s health & wellbeing at the centre of our focus.

Unfortunately, we are sad to announce that we are still unable to re-open our doors to the centre, in the best interests of everyone it is just too great a risk to take, but we want to assure everyone as soon as this changes we will let you know via Facebook & our website.

We have been working very hard to re-create some of our services to be available to you in new ways, such as via telephone call & Zoom online video calling, and we are delighted to now offer the following services via these platforms:

• Mindfulness Meditation
• Hand Reflexology
• Befriending service providing Emotional Support
• Colour Breathing Techniques
• Relaxation breathing techniques including Emotional Freedom Techniques
• Scar Therapy advice and support
• Counselling
• YOGA

Over the next few days we will be sharing a little more information on these services, their benefits & how they work.

If you or a loved one would benefit from these services and want to find out more or book an appointment, please contact us at administrator@chariscancercare.org or give us a call on 02886769217
