Charis Cancer Care Secures 5 Star MQEM Award for 4th Consecutive Time!
Charis Cancer Care has successfully secured a 5* rating once again as part of the prestigious Macmillan Quality Environment Mark awards.
The independent cancer charity located by the serene Lough Fea, first secured this outstanding achievement upon opening their cancer support centre in 2012 and have since continuously strived towards maintaining their meticulous standards of service and environment for their clients, priding themselves on receiving the Macmillan 5* grade every 3 years.
“The MQEM award champions cancer environments that go above and beyond to create welcoming and friendly spaces for patients” (Macmillan.org.uk) and Charis Cancer Care certainly do this, with a dedicated team providing the highest quality of service to clients and constant review of facilities to ensure the most welcoming, relaxing and safe experience for those affected by cancer across Northern Ireland. It has been a tremendously difficult 18 months since the Covid-19 pandemic began and we are delighted to be able to look forward to the time we can reopen, knowing we are welcoming clients back to the best possible experience they can have.”
Charis Cancer Care provide a range of holistic and complementary therapies to individuals affected by cancer, including counselling, at every stage of their journey free of charge. The charity also supports families of those living with or bereaved by cancer.
