Today we meet Patricia Morris

💞Breast Cancer Awareness Month💞

As we conclude our Breast Cancer Awareness month testimonials, we meet Patricia Morris from Carrickmore.

Patricia was first diagnosed with breast cancer in August 2018 then again in August 2021 which was identified as grade 3 and progressed rapidly. Thankfully Patricia received a clear mammogram in April 2025 but remains on treatment.

Speaking about the support she received from Charis Cancer Care, Patricia says: “The support was a god send, I was able to avail of reflexology, counselling, yoga and mindfulness. I also enjoyed the nutritional workshops which the charity also provides as a group activity.

The centre provides a safe, confidential and non-clinical environment for all clients and their families which my husband, children and other family members have all benefited from.

I can’t thank Charis enough for the support they have given me it has helped me to navigate my diagnosis and treatment, and I would urge anyone experiencing any changes in their breasts or having any doubts to consult your GP immediately.”

If you or someone you know would like more information about the support available, please email info@chariscancercare.org or call 028 8676 9217
